will you marry me?

this guy's way of proposing makes me go "awwWWwwwww.."

i'm sure it's every girl's dream to to have a perfect wedding. But to me, nothing beats the proposal.

Given us being in Singapore, knowing Singapore men, we can't expect much from them since Singaporean men are known to be unromantic. How many guys out there you know are actually die-hard romantics? What's the most romantic thing that your bf or ex has done to you? The society and lifestyle we are living in had made us to be practical. I know it sucks but i think im one of them.

I personally don't wish to get married so young, given my youth is running short. Time is moving forward but for me, it's actually counting down to the end of my youth. Marriage to me is just a piece of paper, a cert of responsibilities. When two people get to together, their next phase in life is nothing but bills bills and more bills. There will still be romance. But im sure being practical will be heavier on the scale than being romantic. if im getting married, don't think i would want a lavish wedding. Am i stupid or what? i guess im damn contradicting. wanting the best out of both worlds.

Anyways, back to the proposal topic. i remember watching a prudential ad (if im not wrong and its not impt), the guy proposed to his gf at a most unexpected place - a coffeeshop. All he did was to ask her to apply a flat with him, something along this line. OMG! This is the number one NO NO in a proposal. Imagine your guy one day all of the sudden, looks at you in the eye and asks ,"Let's go apply a flat together, ok? Want or not?" -____-|||

let's just be hopeful.(yn) haha!
