when we are "lao"

lao ah lao. lao is old in hokkien by the way. i'm chatting to yun now and we're talking about stuff we should do to make our lives less boring. the chat continue until the idea of travelling together and when we are "lao" what are we to do. so i said something like "i have this fear when i'm 'lao' that you all aren't my friends anymore. if that is to happen i will die. die of depression" i think it's very true u know. alot of people forget their friends when they reach a certain age especially when they start a family. it's difficult. so i've got this bright idea. since we're not earning much, we can start off by exploring places in singapore. when we start working and are earning a stable income, how about having a yearly travelling escapade? we should. and when we have kids, can either bring them along or leave them behind with our parents or someone to look after. then we can do this til we are 'lao'. the bond will be strong then we won't lose each other. or rather i won't lose you all. i will really die of depression and heartache one. u all don't play play i tell you. i 1 year more 'lao' then you all. so to live longer i must quit smoking. yes yes. i am trying VERY hard. hai... 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s... i wonder how 'lao' we'll be. and we'll meet each other in heaven after that and continue our eternal life of exploration ok? explore the heavens. now we explore the world.
