I, just like any other typical singaporeans, don't have the confidence in whatever things that's singapore born. Hmm..don't say no confidence..let's say...little confidence. "aiyah..singapore will never make it..dgg ah...blah blah blah." is always the common phrase from our mouths. That's so true! And i think singapore will never make for the the World Cup. It's something really difficult for us to give our full support when we don't even see any results. *shrugs* Anyway, just when I think Singapore will never have talents in the singing industry, today's Singapore Idols kind of proved me wrong. I was wondering..what will we be doing 10 years down the road? 10 years. 1 decade. We will be 31, 32. Will i still be working in the same company. Will i be married and have kids by then? I can't even think that far, cannot accept the BIG 3! That's so lao even though ppl keep saying 30 sth is the prime of a woman's life. POOI! Anyway, really do hope by then we will still be in contact, just like now. Let's hold on tight and not lose it k?
Quin mentioned we are getting more and more unhappening unlike last time and that really makes us so damn lao. Don't you realise we keep going to the same old places, do the same old stuffs (Bitch, talk cock, EAT, walk around)? We need to do more enriching stuffs! C'mon! Let's don't waste our youth. Once it's gone, it's really GONE. I want memories to last me a lifetime and by then when i'm old, i can proudly tell others that I have not waste any of my time when i was young. The activities is not as impt as the company. Don't see the point if i end up doing all these myself. So the point i'm trying to make is that, we don't have to think of REALLY SPECIAL stuffs to do. when we are "lao"
lao ah lao. lao is old in hokkien by the way. i'm chatting to yun now and we're talking about stuff we should do to make our lives less boring. the chat continue until the idea of travelling together and when we are "lao" what are we to do. so i said something like "i have this fear when i'm 'lao' that you all aren't my friends anymore. if that is to happen i will die. die of depression" i think it's very true u know. alot of people forget their friends when they reach a certain age especially when they start a family. it's difficult. so i've got this bright idea. since we're not earning much, we can start off by exploring places in singapore. when we start working and are earning a stable income, how about having a yearly travelling escapade? we should. and when we have kids, can either bring them along or leave them behind with our parents or someone to look after. then we can do this til we are 'lao'. the bond will be strong then we won't lose each other. or rather i won't lose you all. i will really die of depression and heartache one. u all don't play play i tell you. i 1 year more 'lao' then you all. so to live longer i must quit smoking. yes yes. i am trying VERY hard. hai... 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s... i wonder how 'lao' we'll be. and we'll meet each other in heaven after that and continue our eternal life of exploration ok? explore the heavens. now we explore the world.

went to meet royden's friends just now. at adam road. were talking. and one of them mentioned that he wanted to form his own band and was looking for a keyboardist. and so i casually mentioned about yy and her being a keyboardist and being in a metal band. apparently, female keyboardists in metal bands are very impressive. he started to ask me about her, like what band she was in and all.
and then i felt very depressed. because i didn't know how to answer half his questions. like what band she is in ? i have no idea. and i didn't even know she was in a metal band until another friend of mine who is into metal and rock and stuff told me. it's like what ? i, we know her for 6 years and we don't seem to know much about her. or maybe it's just me. i realise that i have this tendency to keep talking about myself and only myself and not letting other people talk about themselves and not bothering to even know them. i'm in a world of just me me me.
i feel rather sad. because i know her for 6 years and i don't know anything about her but yet i consider her as one of my best friends. i have to hear things about her from people who barely know her. is it my fault for not trying to listen to her ? or is it hers for keeping everything to herself ? i wish i can understand her better, know her better, be there for her forever. you get what i mean ?

so yes when eus goes in ns, finally me and quin will have you all to ourselves. and then we shall meet up more on weekdays. i shall not ot so much. yesterday, 2 of my colleagues got fired. the reason, our department too much staff. i think it's very unfair. because the guy who was fired, he started working there earlier than me, then he everyday ot until quite late, quite hardworking. and yet he got fired. i think i'd probably be the next in line. which means i need to start looking for another job. but i am too lazy. but i don't have any future in this job. i don't know. i'm just so lazy. i want to be an air stewardess but i'm too short. and i hate this.
i want to watch fireworks. anyone ? but by the time you 2 read this, it'd probably be monday. so nevermind. there's always next year and the year after next. but what if i die before that ? okay i'm feeling rather crazy now.

there is this part in the book that says never wait to be baptised. or something like that. we'll never feel ready to be baptised. i think it's so true. and so i'm thinking of getting baptised. but hmm i don't know if i have time for baptism classes.
